My name is Steve Miller. I am a very fortunate man. I live a wonderful life that besides blessing me for 50+ years, allows me the opportunity to capture images in a camera along the way. I love pictures. I love their ability to evoke emotions, and recall memories.
I have been happily married for twenty seven years, and along the way my wife and I have shared the amazing journey of raising 2 spectacular kids. As our nest empties, and our calendar frees, I am able to devote more of my time to one of my other passion, photography. I have always been a very visual person, and the camera allows me to share my vision with others. I've taken several classes to help my technical and artistic photographic skills, and participated in many exhibitions and showings. I am the current President of the Big Canoe Photography Club. I've enjoyed learning much about the art and craft of photography. But for or me, the real thrill of photography is still the pursuit of finding visually interesting subjects, solving the mental puzzle of getting a piece of electronic equipment to capture that moment, and using creative post-production editing to maximize the emotional impact to express my artistic point of view. As an airline pilot I have the greatest office view, and get to travel to many interesting places and see many beautiful sites. As a photographer, I get to enjoy and share my interpretation of the beauty of God's wonderful world with you. Please enjoy my images.
